Rediscover peaceful sleep with neurofeedback.

How it works.

What to expect.

During a session, you will sit comfortably while small electrodes are gently placed on your scalp. These electrodes detect your brainwave activity and feed it back to the neurofeedback system. A typical session lasts around 20- minutes, during which time you can relax as the system works to recalibrate your brainwave patterns. No active involvement is required on your part, and the process is painless and non-invasive.

Most patients experience no side effects, and because neurofeedback is a natural, drug-free approach, it avoids the dependency risks associated with traditional sleep medications. Depending on the severity of your insomnia, a treatment plan may involve 12 to 18 sessions.

The outcome.

Passive neurofeedback is an innovative, non-invasive approach to treating insomnia by retraining the brain’s sleep-regulation mechanisms. Insomnia is often linked to irregular brainwave activity, such as an excess of fast beta waves, which are associated with alertness and stress, or an insufficient amount of slower brainwaves like delta, which are linked to deep sleep. During a neurofeedback session, sensors on the scalp monitor brain activity in real time. This data is used to send subtle, low-frequency signals back to the brain, guiding it toward a more balanced state that is conducive to sleep.

Unlike traditional neurofeedback, passive neurofeedback doesn’t require active participation. Instead, it helps the brain shift out of unhealthy patterns automatically, improving its ability to regulate sleep cycles and restore restful sleep

After a series of neurofeedback sessions, many people report significant improvements in both the quality and duration of their sleep. Passive neurofeedback helps the brain to self-regulate, making it easier to fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up feeling rested. Over time, patients notice a reduction in the need for sleep aids, fewer sleep interruptions, and an overall improvement in daytime alertness and mood.

Neurofeedback doesn’t just mask the symptoms of insomnia—it helps address the root cause by restoring the brain’s natural sleep patterns. The benefits are long-lasting, allowing you to achieve deep, restorative sleep without relying on medications or enduring unwanted side effects

If you’re struggling with insomnia, passive neurofeedback offers a safe, natural way to regain control of your sleep and improve your overall quality of life.
